Inventory Management
Contract management
xEvent allows you to store and manage negotiated rates and contracts with multiple suppliers. It also supports various rate types including net rate and commissionable rates as well as customisable child policies.
Event Bookings
Supports store block allocations and allows suppliers to load inventory, rates and content; enables a client system to request a full list of rates or a rate range; allows users to modify existing bookings and enables bookings to be used as part of a Dynamic Packaging transactions.
xEvent also manages multiple components such as concert and theatre tickets which are typically held as inventory but also supports free-sale components which have no volume restrictions such as park tickets or ski passes.
Distribution
xEvent enables selected allocations to be made to or restricted from partner distribution channels, user groups and/or geographic regions, allowing you to link specific allocations to designated customers e.g. conference organisers and intermediaries.
Combinations
xEvent supports combination selling which enables you to define what ‘must’ or ‘can’ be sold with an event or destination activity e.g. an event ‘must’ be sold with a transfer or ‘can’ be sold with a hotel and flight.
Tax policies
xEvent allows you to define up to three categories of tax that can be levied on the event or destination activity.
Content Management
Event Description & Images
To differentiate your top events and destination activities, xEvent enables you to create unique and localised descriptions and include errata information. Content is supported in multiple languages, including the extended European, Far Eastern and Arabic character sets. xEvent enables property images and virtual tour content to be imported from suppliers.
Searching
Clients connected through an Internet Booking Engine can search for hotels by either using an address (city, state or country) or by Geocode searching which uses the longitude or latitude information for a property. xEvent also features integration with mapping services such as Google Maps to display exact locations and to enrich the user experience.
