Leading Retail Technology Provider, GuestLogix, Acquires OpenJaw Technologies Limited

02 December, 2014 – TORONTO, ON – GuestLogix Inc., a leading global provider of ancillary-focused merchandising, payment and business intelligence technology to airlines and the passenger travel industry, today announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire OpenJaw Technologies, the leading online technology partner to the world’s biggest travel brands.  The total transaction value is US$41.2 million, plus performance considerations and certain adjustments.

GuestLogix provides advanced retail and payment technology solutions for travel operators, used onboard aircraft or other modes of transportation, through attendant-driven models as well as self-service retail models (inflight entertainment and connectivity solutions). The Company also provides its solutions in the off-board space through: self-service kiosk systems, mobile solutions and via staff in airport lounges.

The OpenJaw t-Retail Platform broadens GuestLogix’ ancillary revenue-focused service offerings and extends its reach to include all travel touch points (home, transfer, airport, onboard, hotel and elsewhere in destination) and all major verticals.
