OpenJaw’s travel software solution portfolio is based on the XML messaging standards of the OpenTravel™ Alliance and is implemented using a modern Java, XML and relational database architecture. As a result, it can be deployed in virtually any environment.

OpenTravel™ Alliance
The OpenTravel Alliance is passionate about solving the problems inherent with connecting multiple systems within the complex travel distribution arena.
OpenTravel’s mission is to engineer specifications to ensure traveler and supplier information flow smoothly throughout travel, tourism and hospitality. OpenTravel creates, expands and drives adoption of open specifications, including but not limited to the use of XML, for the electronic exchange of business information among all sectors of the travel industry.
OpenTravel is comprised of companies representing airlines, car rental firms, hotels, cruise lines, railways, leisure suppliers, service providers, tour operators, travel agencies, solutions providers, technology companies and distributors. Tens of thousands of OpenTravel message structures are in use, carrying tens of millions of messages between trading partners every day.
OpenTravel is a not-for-profit trade association, founded in 1999 by travel companies, with a primary focus on the creation of electronic message structures to facilitate communication between the disparate systems in the global travel industry. Our members actually do the work of identifying what messages are needed, prioritizing the work and creating the messages.
OpenJaw Technologies is a member and active participant of the OpenTravel Alliance.

Travel Technology Initiative
The Travel Technology Initiative (TTI) is a European industry user group that promotes the development and use of technology and business processes including open standards within travel, tourism and leisure. With a membership drawn from across the industry, TTI demonstrates that competing organisations can co-operate together for a common goal. http://www.tti.org/
CASMA
For nearly three decades CASMA (Computerized Airline Sales and Marketing Association) has been addressing complex travel distribution issues. Hotel Technology Next Generation is a global trade association that fosters, through collaboration and partnership among hoteliers and technology providers, the development of next-generation solutions that will enable them to do business globally in the 21st century. Open AXIS Group
The mission of Open AXIS Group is to promote XML as the optimal electronic messaging structure for airline system connectivity. Key functions of the Open AXIS Group include:
- Promotion of XML as the preferred electronic messaging structure for connectivity to airline systems
- Adoption, promotion and maintenance of the group’s Airline XML Integration Standard schema
- Advocacy on behalf of its members and the industry at large for innovation and collaboration in matters of airline distribution
- Offering of services to the industry including Support for the Open AXIS Group standard, Certification
- Procedures, and Collaboration with other industry standards organizations
