Customer Support Engineer – Dublin Office
OpenJaw Technologies delivers high performance travel distribution software solutions to the global travel industry and is the creator of the xDistributor Platform, the world’s most powerful eCommerce platform for the travel industry.
To support the continued growth of the company, we are currently recruiting for Customer Support Engineers in our Dublin office. These are permanent positions offering tremendous potential to highly motivated individuals who wish to work with the latest XML, SQL and Internet technologies.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Must be capable of meeting agreed customer Support Level Agreements
- Working knowledge of both Windows and Linux, Database systems, MYSQL, Oracle, SQL
- Follow defined software development process to consistently produce high quality software
- Act as an escalation point for Customers and work with Development teams in order to resolve complex issues
- Provide issue status updates to the Customer Support Manager
Experience
- Excellent understanding of computer science principles
- Excellent debugging skills
- Experience working with XML technologies an advantage
- Knowledge of travel technology systems an advantage
Qualifications
Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering
