Initial Implementation of Company’s t-Retail Platform Enables Flight & Hotel Dynamic Packaging for Cathay Pacific Airways, Dragonair and Cathay Pacific Holidays
DUBLIN, Ireland — May 20, 2015 Leading online technology partner to the world’s biggest travel brands, OpenJaw Technologies, today announced that the Company has successfully deployed its t-Retail Platform at Cathay Pacific Group as part of the airline group’s retail strategy. The t-Retail Platform provides significant product management capabilities and flexibility to Cathay Pacific Holidays operations, in addition to supporting ground ancillary merchandising and dynamic packaging for Cathay Pacific Airways and Dragonair.
The t-Retail Platform enables Cathay Pacific passengers to access hundreds of thousands of hotel choices, with reviews and ratings provided via integration with TripAdvisor. It provides the ability to dynamically package the best available airfares and hotels, and benefit from an “If Booked Separately” calculator.
Other features include:
• Hotel-only and Flight & Hotel dynamic package promotions on cathaypacific.com.
• Earn on the Marco Polo Club frequent flyer programme and Asia Miles travel reward programme.
• Manage My Booking functionality developed against the t-Retail Platform Tribe API.
