Aeroplan’s millions of members that earn Aeroplan Miles across its growing network of over 75 world-class partners, represents more than 150 brands in the financial, retail, and travel sectors.

Aeroplan wanted to deploy a website which offered its members the widest choice of premium travel and merchandise brands to redeem loyalty points against.

OpenJaw enabled members to redeem points for flights, hotel products, car rental and merchandise from a multitude of suppliers through the Aeroplan website, in addition to purchasing mileage top up. OpenJaw also provided the front-end user experience.

Turismo Cocha’s main business stream was offline with a network of agents across the country. It sought to take its travel agency business online and to streamline operations

OpenJaw created a travel retailing website enabling Turismo Cocha’s customers to search for flights, hotel accommodation and insurance products which can then be combined to dynamically build travel packages to meet their individual requirements. Turismo Cocha’s call centre agents also use the new platform to service bookings and for the cross-sell of additional travel products.

As a result of the deployment, Cocha has been able to open a new sales channel and significantly improve the speed and quality of service offered.

Future phases of the project will see Cocha customers benefit from even more choice and convenience on the Cocha website.
