OpenJaw opens office in Berlin, Germany; appoints travel expert as new Central and Eastern Europe Director

31 October 2012 -Berlin (GERMANY) – OpenJaw Technologies, a leading online technology partner of the world’s biggest travel brands, today announced that it has strengthened its position in Europe to accommodate the company’s aggressive growth plans. OpenJaw has appointed Dieter Jungkunz as Regional Director Central and Eastern Europe to service increasing demand for travel retailing solutions in the middle and emerging European markets. These markets will be supported from a recently opened office in Berlin, Germany.

Dieter Jungkunz has years of experience as a senior executive and technologist. He joins OpenJaw from OTA Online Travel Agency GmbH, where he held the position of Managing Director charged with the strategic direction and leadership of the company. Prior to this Dieter served as Director Product and Operations at OTA Online Travel Agency GmbH and was responsible for implementing the core technical and operational infrastructure of airBaltic’s portal, in addition to establishing business relationships with a host of suppliers and service providers such as Amadeus, GTA and Avis. Dieter has also held senior executive positions at COMVEL, Expedia and Sangat Systems.
